رواية الخائفون – ديمة الرواية تحكي عن تسلط الخوف والقلق على الإنسان السوري في حقبة مابعد الثورة في ظل تغير كبير طرأ على الحياة في سوريا, هذا الخوف الذي جسدته ديمة ونوس ببراعة من خلال شخصيات كثيرة وأوراق متشابكة وحكايات متداخلة تشكل حالة الخوف والبحث عن الذات في عالم الحرب والتشرد والضياع , الكل خائف ويبحث عن أفضل طريقة للبحث عن الأستقرار النفسي في عالم لا يسعه غير الجنون , أمام البطش والوحشية والدمار الذي أبتلع سوريا..الرواية لا تلجأ كثيراً الى المشاهد الخارجية , في معظم الأحيان تكتفي برصد الحالة النفسية للشخصيات التي تبرزها الكاتبة عادة بحالة أقرب الى الجنون والهذيان بصورة رمزية عن المعاناة والألم والخوف حتى من عبرو الشارع والنقاط الأمنية المنتشرة , تلجأ الشخصيات في سعيها للنسيان نحو الكتابة وصنع ذكريات ومشاهد ماقبل الثورة وحكايات ماقبل الجحيم.حياة سليمى مليئة بالأحداث والأشخاص الذين يمرون في حياته كالحلم, كالورق أحياناً, لا تكاد تتيقن من وجود بعضهم في الحقيقة, ينصحها الطبيب النفسي ألا تُجن, أن لا تقع في كومة الجنون اليومي والخوف من الخوف نفسه, كما تصف سليمى..أجد أن العمل الروائي عبقري بحد ذاته وآخاذ وحتى التفاصيل ستشعرك بقيمة الحكي والأحساس المدهش الذي يسري في جسد النص , ديمة كاتبة جميلة أحيي شجاعتها أولاً وموقفها الإنساني الذي يرفض الظلم.ديمة تكتب بقلم سلس وروح خائفة على أولئك الخائفين في وطن أصبح لا يعرف سوى الخوف.
