لقد وضعت هذا الدّليل وأنا أقلّب بين عناوين وصفحات كتب العقيدة وأصول الدّين المدرجة في المكتبة الشّاملة الرّقمية، ولاحظت أنّه يمكن أن يحتاج الباحث والطالب إلى الاطلاع على هذه الكتب وانتقاء المناسب منها، وربّما يجد صعوبة في عملية الإنتقاء والفرز لما يناسبه، ولذلك فإنّ جردها والتدقيق فيها ممّا يُيسّر هذه العمليّة من خلال دليل واضح يحمل بطاقات تعريف لهذه الكتب، ومن هنا نشأت فكرة تجربة هذا الدّليل عبر الاشتغال على عيّنة من كتب العقيدة وأصول الدّين.
وأن تنجز بحثا أو دراسة فإن ذلك له أدواته ومنهجه، وهو أمر مألوف عند من يوطّن نفسه على البحث، ولكن أن تنجز دليلا فإنّ ذلك يضعك أمام مهمّة وضع الإشارات والعلامات لطالب المعرفة، وينبغي أن تكون هذه العلامات واضحة ودقيقة، ولذلك كانت تجربة إعداد هذا الدليل ممتعة أكثر من قدر أي صعوبة اعترضني، ممّا يسوّغ القول بأنّ هذه البداية في بناء دليل الباحث في مصنّفات المكتبة الشّاملة فتحت لي أفق استكمال مشروع جرد وتدقيق جميع المصنّفات في كلّ المجالات، على ضخامة حجمها، وإدرجها ضمن دليل شامل تمتدّ فوائده إلى كل من يقصد المكتبة الشاملة بالبحث والاستفادة. مع شوق أكبر إلى جرد أهمّ المصنّفات في علم الكلام وأصول الدّين خارج المكتبة الشّاملة، لا سيّما وأنّها مصنّفات متميّزة بكثافتها وانفتاحها على العلوم الإنسانية ، اهتمّ أصحابها بهذا المجال وفق مناهج جديدة تسعى إلى ربط الصّلة بين أصول النّشأة والواقع المتغيّر ضمن نسق من البحث تُوّج بظهور مجال علم الكلام الجديد
