كاتب وصحافي مصري، حصل على الدكتوراه في النقد الأدبي الحديث، والماجستير في الأدب العربي القديم. فازت روايته «سفر المرايا» بجائزة دبي الثقافية عام 2013، وحصل على جائزة «كتاب اليوم للقصة القصيرة» في 2014. له مجموعة قصصية عنوانها «نفق سري» صدرت في 2020. إضافة إلى كتابين نقديين: «المُناظرة والحجِاج» 2019، و«السلطة والحرية بنية السرد في سُداسية إبراهيم الكوني»، عام 2019.

"استبدَّ به الأرق، أيقظه من غفوةٍ طابتْ له، وهو الذي كثيرًا ما ردد بسخرية أنه عقد شراكةً مع الكوابيس التي تبخل الذاكرة عليه باسترداد تفاصيلها. شخص وحيد يتذكره ويجول بخاطره، لم يبُح له باسمه، لكن راغب أطلق عليه "سامر" من قبيل السخرية أيضًا؛ هو صاحب مسرح الأحلام الذي يتخذ من ذهنه سكنًا له. ما إنْ يتشكَّل طيفه أثناء النوم، يُدرك راغب أن الحفلة تبدأ".
تسعى رواية "الليالي العمياء" من خلال مناخ نفسي مُركَّب وواقع كابوسي قاتم يُخيِّم علي أبطال الرواية إلى تقديم فهم منطقي لمعنى الذات الإنسانية وما يجتاحها من أحاسيس وأفكار وأسئلة وأحزان وأوجاع وحيرة وجودية.. ونُدرك تدريجيًّا ونحن نتورط في النص أنه نَص أفكار ومُراجعات للحياة والواقع والذات، أكثر من كونه نصًّا تقليديًّا يعتمد الأشكال المعهودة.
