لا يمكن للعالم ان يكون الفة عيانية صافية تدعم مقولة (المثال)؛ لأنه يندرج في مواجهات تشتت احلامه، ولا ترض تطلعاته، فيعمد الى ايجاد الوسائل التي تؤهله للوصول الى غاياته المعلنة، وغير المعلنة ، ليحقق هويته أمام (اللامسمى)، اذن هو يبحث عن حصانته الشخصية في مواجهة الرعب والخوف من مجهول يتفوق عليه، بقدرته على الحضور بلا استئذان، انه يمثل الفجاءة، وبالتالي يخلق الارباك للذات المواجهة للمجهول، فهل يعمد الى مصالحة القادم، أو يبتكر الوسائل لترويضه، ولعله لا يروضه بقدر ما يروض ذاته على تحمل الصدمات، فابتكر ما يقنع توتره، ابتكر (السحر)، والتعاويذ، بناء على معطيات سوغها له عقله الطفولي .؟! كلما صنع شيئا أحسّ أنه سيطر عليه، باعتباره امتلك القدرة على تطويع المادة لا مكاناته العقلية والعضلية ، فكانت هذه المصنوعات دريئته المضادة لما يخشاه من المجهول؛ لذلك كانت قدرته بدءا تتجه إلى إشباع حاجات نفعية بيولوجية، سيكولوجية، فبارقة الوعي التي سطعت في ذهنه، قدمت له أداة حضارية ترد عنه غائلة المغيوب، هل كان للإنسان البدائي نسق فكري ما يعبر عن حاجاته الاجتماعية والطبيعية؟ حاولت معظم الدراسات الانثروبولوجية الاهتمام بدراسة الجوانب السلبية في نمط هذه الحياة، مستسلمة لوجهات نظر شخصية، لم تستطع ان توغل في عقل ذلك الإنسان الهائم في شعرية الكون يتدفق في معاناته عاطفةً ورغبة في إيجاد وجود يستجيب لاهتماماته وغرائزه، فلجا إلى الوسائل التي تخلق له التناغم بين حاجاته المادية والروحية حتى ان العلاقة في هذه الثنائية متبادلة إلى حد الإيمان العميق، بان التوازن بينهما ضروري لكي يحدث التأثير السحري أو الطبي ذلك ان الانسان البدائي لم يستطع `` أن يصل الى مرحلة الافتراق عن الطبيعة لقصوره ونقص في أدواته التقنية؛ ولكنه لم يستسلم، بل عمل على خلق عالم جديد. هذا العالم لم يكن (وهما) بل كان (هدفا) عجزت أدواته وخبرته العلمية عن خلقه. كانت هذه الأداة الفذة في يد الإنسان هي الأسطورة ... إن الأسطورة وهي تنجز بالوسائل السحرية والرمزية هذه الأهداف ـ الفكر هو الذي يقتل، أو الأيمان هو الذي يحقق المعجزة، وانما كان الفعل هو الذي يقوم بالسحر. ان فنان العصر الحجري القديم عندما كان يصور حيوانا على صخرة كان ينتج حيوانا حقيقيا. ذلك؛ لان عالم الخيال والصور ومجال الفن والمحاكاة المجردة لم يكن قد أصبح في نظره ميدانا خاصا قائما بذاته مختلفا عن الواقع التجريبي ومنفصلا عنه. وتأتي هذه القراءة، لتوضح المحرك الاساس للإنسان في مواجهته لكون مجهول مفارق له وملتصق به في وقت واحد .
