فهذا بحث مختصر عن مسألة مهمة كثر فيها الخلاف بين طلبة العلم وهي مسألة شد الرحال إلى زيارة النبي (صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم)، ثم إنه قد ظهر في موسم الحج هذا العالم (1419 هـ) كتاب أساء إلى المسلمين وكدر عليهم صفوهم وهم في زيارة رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) فكان أكبر إيذاء لهم وجرح لشعورهم هم حجاج زوار قاصدون وجه الله سبحانه وتعالى. لذلك أحبب المؤلف أن يشارك بهذه الرسالة في الدفاع عن مقام رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) والذب عنه وهو أقل ما يقدمه الحبيب لحبيبه والمؤمن لنبيه وهو ليس غلوا ممقوتا ولا إطراء مذموما وإنما هو واجب إيماني على رقبة كل مسلم موحد غيور على من يحب انطلاقا من قوله (صلى الله عليه وسلم): (لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى أكون أحب إليه من ولده ووالده والناس أجمعين).
