استهدفت هذا البحث تسليط بعض الضوء على رأس المال الفكري (الموجودات غير الملموسة)، وأهميته في تنمية القدرات التنافسية لدى طلاب جامعة أسيوط، ووضع تصور مقترح لتعظيم رأس المال الفكري بجامعة أسيوط من أجل بناء وتنمية القدرات التنافسية لدى طلابها وتعزيزها، والتي تفضي إلى تحقيق الميزة التنافسية لجامعة أسيوط. \\\\ واعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي، واستخدام استبانتين-من إعداد الباحث-إحداهما تم تطبيقها على عينة من الأعضاء بلغت (330) عضوا من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالكليات النظرية والعملية بجامعة أسيوط؛ وذلك لتعرف واقع رأس المال الفكري بالجامعة، والأخرى تم تطبيقها على عينة من الطلاب بالفرق النهائية بلغت (1638) طالبا من طلاب الكليات النظرية والعملية بالجامعة؛ وذلك لتعرف واقع القدرات التنافسية لدى الطلاب بجامعة أسيوط. \\\\ \\\\ وتوصل البحث إلى عدة نتائج، من أهمها: أن مكونات رإس المال الفكرى المتمثلة فى قيم الجامعة، والأنشطة الطلابية، والمقررات الدراسية، ورسائل الماجستير والدكتوراة وبحوث الترقية لها تأثير إيجابى مباشر فى تنمية القدرات التنافسية لدى الطلاب أعلى من تأثير كل من الإصدارات والوثائق، والندوات والمؤتمرات، والمشروعات البحثية ٠ \\\\ وفى ضوء هذه النتائج وغيرها ، قام الباحث بوضع تصور مقترح للاهتمام برأس المال الفكرى فى جامعة أسيوط؛ كمية القدرات التنافسية لدى طلابها ٠ هذا وقد ذيل الباحث هذا البحث ببحوث مقترحة وبقائمة للمرإجع ٠
