هدف البحث إلى استقراء واقع " الوعي بمعايير الجودة الشاملة لدي معلمي مرحلة التعليم الأساسي في ضوء بعض المتغيرات المهنية للمعلمين (دراسة ميدانية بمحافظة سوهاج)". واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي. وتكونت عينة البحث من المعلمين والمعلمات في بعض مدارس التعليم الأساسي بمحافظة سوهاج. وتمثلت أدوات البحث من صحيفة الاستبانة لقياس الوعي بمعايير الجودة. وجاءت نتائج البحث مؤكدة على أن البعد المعرفي عبر عن إلمام المعلمين بمعايير الجودة الشاملة وتفسيرها والقدرة على تطبيقها وقد اندرج تحت هذا الست والعشرون عبارة. كما أكدت على أن الوعي المعرفي بما يتضمنه من معرفة وتطبيق لمعايير الجودة الشاملة متوفر إلى حد ما لدي معلمي ومعلمات مرحلة التعليم الأساسي بمحافظة سوهاج، وهذا مؤشر جيد يجعل نظام الجودة الشامة عملاً يلتزم به الجميع وبشكل متواصل في إطار تضافر الجهود وتعاون الافراد في تحقيق الأهداف المرجوة من الجودة الشاملة في مدارسنا وتعليمنا. وأوصي البحث بضرورة إجراء دراسة عن أثر حصول بعض مدارس التعليم الأساسي على الجودة والاعتماد على أداء العاملين بها بعد الاعتماد. وإجراء دراسة حول متطلبات نشر الوعي بثقافة الجودة الشاملة لدي المعلمين بالمدارس المصرية. كما أوصي بضرورة إجراء دراسة عن كيفية تطبيق معايير الجودة الشاملة بمدارس التعليم الفني الصناعي في مصر من أجل النهوض بهذا النوع من التعليم. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
