تثير بعض الكتب قضايا مهمة تتعدى مضمونها الذي تحتويه بين دفتيها، كما هو الحال بالنسبة للكتاب الذي نقدمه للقارئ «ابتهالات الحاج، رحلة الموريسكي الأخير إلى مكة المكرمة» للباحث العراقي المقيم في إسبانيا عبدالهادي سعدون والصادر عن دار سنابل بالقاهرة، والذي يتضمن قصيدة ملحمية مطولة لرحلة إلى الأراضي الحجازية قام بها أحد الموريسكيين يحكي فيها تفاصيل ما قابله من صعاب وما عاشه من لحظات روحية ومادية خلال بحثه عن الطواف حول الكعبة متخفيا عن أعين محاكم التفتيش الإسبانية التي كانت تطارد الموريسكيين وتحاكم من تثبت عليه تهمة البقاء على دين الإسلام.
