انْ يكون الشاعرُ رسّاماً أو الرسّام شاعراً فتلك فضيلة ترفع شأن الفنَّين معاً إلى أعلى المراتب الممكنة شعراً ورسماً، وقد يتبادر السؤال هنا حول هذه العلاقة عن أيّهما أسبق وأيّهما أرفع وأيّهما أكثر تأثيراً في الآخر، ولا شكّ في أنّ الإجابة لن تكون سهلة على الإطلاق لأنّ العلاقة تبقى على قدر من الغموض الجميل الساحر، الذي لا يعطي نفسه بسهولة؛ أو بالأحرى لا يعطيها في نهاية الأمر إلا في سياق فهم دقيق لإشكاليّة هذه العلاقة وتموّجاتها وتفاصيلها الدقيقة، فللقصيدة مثل ما للوحة من حضور في الذائقة الجماليّة لدى مجتمع التلقّي الفنّي عموماً
