صـدرت الطبعـة الأولى من كتـاب «أوراق في القضيـة الفلسطينية» لتـــهاني هلسـة (1942-2020)، عن معهد البحوث والدراسات العربية التابع لجامعة الدول العربية سنة 1967، وتضمّن الكتاب أربع دراسات هي: حياة مؤسس الحركة الصهيونية ثيودور هرتسل، والوكالة اليهودية، والهستدروت (اتحاد نقابات العمال الصهيوني)، والفِرق (الدينية) اليهودية. وهي –جميعًا– ثمرة دراسة أرادت الكاتبة من خلالها أن تعرِّف القارئ العربي بعدوِّه التاريخيّ؛ إسهامًا منها في معركة التحرير التي تخوضها الأمة العربية. أما هذا الإصدار فيضمّ إضافة إلى الكتاب السابق، دراسة غير منشورة للباحثة بعنوان «إدارة فلسطين في عهد الانتداب البريطاني»، ومجموعة من الملاحق ذات الصلة بالقضية الفلسطينية كانت قد ترجمتها من اللغة الإنجليزية بنيّة إضافتها إلى الكتاب الأصلي. يُعدّ هذا الكتاب وثيقةً مهمةً للتعريف بالعدو الصهيونيّ وتاريخه ومؤسساته، وتاريخ القضية الفلسطينية، وهو ما زال يحافظ على قيمته العلمية رغم مرور أكثر من خمسين عامًا على صدور طبعته الأولى. ولم يكن له أن يرى النور مجددًا لولا الجهد الذي بذلته د. حنان جميل هلسة، إيمانًا منها بقيمته وبأهميته في إحياء التراث الفكري والبحثي للراحلة تهاني هلسة.
