إن افتراض هيمنة السردي في المنجز التراثي والحاضر، هو خلاصة كون "المادة الحكائية" أصلٌ للفكر الانساني ودافع للبناء ومؤسس له، ومهيمن في الفعل الثقافي والحضاري عموما ، وبالتالي فعمارة الأرض لا تخرج عن تصورٍ ما للسياق السردي وتصوّرٍ للآتي وبناء متسلسل للوحدات الحكائية للتاريخ والتي يشكل الحاضر حلقة ضمن حلقاته العديدة.

والواقع أن القرآن الكريم قد استند إلى الحكي والقص في إعادة تشكيل العقل وبناء الحضارة سرديا، وفي هذا الإطار نفهم كلام الطبري أنه "ما الآيات إلا قصص متتالية"، إذ الرسالة الجديدة "قصص" كان لزاما عليها اجتثاث القصص السالفة وتعويضها واستبدالها واختراقها ونفي الطريق إليها، وقتل حاملها، من أجل بناء حضاري جديد يستند إلى تشكيل جديد للعقل السردي، تشكيل يرتبط بمدار الوحي وفلكه، وينتقل من الشفاهي إلى الكتابي ومن البداوة إلى المدنية.
