كتابٌ عن زمن الحضارة الرقمية. الجميع عالقون بعالمٍ رقمي متسارع التضخم والحضور، في إطار رأسمالٍ رقمي، يقوم على ثروة المعلومات. ولكي تكبر ثروته المعلوماتية تلك فإنّ عليك –كمستخدم- أن تترك له منها نصيبًا أكبر. ولا يكون ذلك إلا بقضائك وقتًا أطول وأطول على مواقع الانترنت.
ولأنّ وقتك محدود جدًا، والوقت المطلوب منك أطول، فلا بدّ من جعلك تتنقل بين المواقع والصفحات بوتيرة أسرع . لكنّ هذا يعني تشتّتك الذهني! وكل ما يتبع ذلك من مشاكل نفسية وفكرية، وهذا ما لا يكترثون له، ولا يأبهون به!
لذا أصبحنا كالسمكة الحمراء! سمكة الزينة التي تعيش في الأحواض المنزلية. يُقال أنّ زمن تركيزها لا يتجاوز 8ثوان! وأنّ الجيل البشري الحديث يصل زمن تركيزه إلى 9 ثوانٍ فقط! هذا ما صنعته بنا التنافسية العالية، والجهد الحثيث على جذب انتباهنا على الشاشات التي تملأ حياتنا.
في الكتاب أفكارٌ ومعلومات جيدة. وفكرته الأساس عن الإدمان الرقمي وما يخلفه من هشاشة نفسية ومعرفية حقيقية وخطيرة. غير أنّه يعاني من أسلوب كتابةٍ مضطرب ومزعج. وترجمته على يد خبير نفسي، صاحب مؤلفات عظيمة، لم تُنجه من هذا الاضطراب. (هل هو أسلوب الكتابة الفرنسية؟)
لكنْ مهلاً! هل السمكة الحمراء بهذا الحُمق؟ لم أجد ما يعزّز هذا القول، ويبدو أنه محض خرافة. فإن لها –حسب نتائج بحثي- ذاكرة جيدة، ومدة انتباهٍ تجعلها نموذجًا تعليميًا. ويُشار إلى قدرتها على معرفة صاحبها!
هل هي حمراء؟ ليس الأمر كذلك أيضًا! فالعنوان الفرنسي عن سمكة ذهبية، واللون الأحمر أحد ألوان أفراد هذا النوع.
