يجيء العنوان في المنجز الإبداعي للشاعرة عبير حسن الزهراني من قبيل تقديم حقيقة مجردة، أو شعور، أو فكرة مدركة بالحس في هيئة صور ورسائل مبثوثة من خلال القصائد، فتكون معادلاً لثيمة الحزن التي تتلبس الشاعرة، مقتفية تقنيات السرد النثري لتوصل المتلقي ذروة الألم والإحساس بالفقد.
في القصيدة المعنونة "سورة الحزن" تقول الشاعرة:
"ما للغياب في سنا الشوق .. غياب! / والنسائمُ الحائرة / في أحضان الأشرعة / ذابت في تفاصيل الألم / أأجدَبت الذاكرةُ في خاصرة التراب! / من واهنِ الضوء أعيد ترتيبُ العناوين / ثم تطوى نوتاتي من جديد في أسارير العنقاءُ تلفت نبوءات أقداري / المستجيرة بالأمل / من وله الإنتظار (...)".
تضم المجموعة "سورة الحزن" ستة وعشرون قصيدة نثرية جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: 1- سافيات الريح، 2- سورة الحزن، 3- هذا الصياح، 4- طبول ذكراك، 5- قبلة في جبين أبي، 6- أغنية لأوائل العام، 7- لغة الأضداد، 8- أول الطريق، 9- أغنية لأوائل الشتاء، (...) وعناوين أخرى.
