جاء هذا الكتاب استكمالاً لما جاء في جزئه الأول من توضيح لمصادر الالتزام التي تولد الروابط القانونية بين الأشخاص، ولذلك وجب التعرف في هذا الجزء (الثاني) على الالتزام في ذاته مجرداً عن مصدر نشوئه وهو مايسمي ب(أحكام الالتزام). فللروابط القانونية حياتها أودروها الحياتية التي لابد أن تنقضي لسبب من الأسباب عرض الكتاب ا(تنفيذ الالتزام) فعدد شروط التنفيذ العيني الجبري ووضح أسلوب التنفيذ العيني الجبري، وطرق الحصول على هذا النوع من التنفيذ. وناقش بعد ذلك التنفيذ بمقابل( تنفيذ الالتزام بطريق التعويض) ففسر التعويض القضائي، والتعويض القانوني الفائدة وانتقل إلى (ضمانات تنفيذ الإلزام) فذكر الدعاوى غير المباشرة، ودعوى عدم نفاذ التصرف، الحق في الحبس للضمان والدفع بعدم التنفيذ وغير ذلك. وناقش(أوصاف الالتزام ) فتحدث عن الشرط، والأجل، وتعدد محل الالتزام، وتعداد أطراف الالتزام. وأتي على (انتقال الالتزام) فوضح حوالة الدين، وحوالة الحق وختم بموضوع(انقضاء الالتزام) فشرح انقضاء الالتزام بالوفاء، وانقضاء الالتزام بما يعادل الوفاء وانقضاء الالتزام دون وفاء ولا بما يعادل الوفاء.
