كتاب هام، يتطرق إلى موضوع أصبح من الضروري الحديث عنه والخوص في تأثيره وأبعاده وقد جاء عنوان الكتاب "لاهوت النخب القبلية تقديس الشيخ ولعن الدولة" ليلخص ما ستتناوله صفحات هذا الكتاب فإن النخب القبلية منذ بداية خوضها العمل السياسي في العهد الجمهوري كانت على قناعه أن الدولة مهمة، لا لتطوير المجتمع وإعادة بنائه وتجاوز الماضي فحسب، بل من أجل ترسيخ شرعيتها في الوسط القبلي، لذا فإنّ النخب عملت بشكل جاد من أجل السيطرة على الدولة أو المشاركة فيها وتحويل أدواتها إلى قوة داعمة لمصالحهم، وتمَّ عسكرة القبيلة من خلال تجهيل أبناء القبيلة وتفعيل وعيهم القبلي وعزلهم عن الدولة ليتحولوا إلى قوة مقاتلة لصالح النخب القبلية.
وكلما زادت قوة النخب القبلية فقدت الدولة الكثير من معناها ومن هيبتها حتى كسلطة قاهرة، وتحوّلت في الوعي المجتمعي إلى أداة لإشباع رغبات المتصارعين على غنائمها، ومع هزيمة وعي الدولة في المجتمع يبرز الوعي القبلي بتجليات مناطقيةٍ ومذهبية وسلالية من خلال أعضاء المجتمع الطامحين، وهذا جعل من الدولة "قِسْمة ضيزى"... بين قوى إنتهازية، وسهّل مهمّة الفساد ليتحول إلى منظومة ضرورية لإستمرارية الدولة.
وعندما تصبح القبيلة مصدر شرعية الدولة، وكلاهما مرتهن للفعل الأصولي، فإن الدولة تصبح ضعيفة وهشة، وكلما ضعفت المؤسسة العسكرية والقوى الحديثة أو تحالفت بعض القوى الحديثة مع الأصولية وبعثت وعي القبيلة في صراعها مع الدولة، فإن الصراع على الدولة يصبح حاداً وخطيراً ومؤلماً، ويأخذ مسارات كثيرة لا ينتج عنها سوى الأزمات القاتلة للمجتمع والدولة.
