وبالرغم من ذلك الوحدة العربية ليست إلهاً من تمر، وحديثها لم يعد حديثاً موسمياً نتلوه تلاوة طقسية، ذيّاك هو حديث الفاشلين والمحبطين... وأحياناً حديث الشامتين...

يبقى فقط أن تكون لأبنائها إرادة الوحدة... الوحدة في الإقتصاد والأمن والسياسة والثقافة... وكلّها في سياق واحد... إنّه سياق العقل والمعرفة والعلم والتكنولوجيا والحقّ والقانون.
