"أبجدية الموت حباً" رواية تحدثت فيها عن معركة تحرير مدينة "الفاو" جنوب العراق، من قبضة الجيش الإيراني عام 1988 والتي ذهب ضحية لها من الجانب العراقي 52 ألف رجل خلال 72 ساعة فقط، عدا خسائل الجيش الإيراني. وهي آخر وأكبر معارك حرب الخليج الأولى، استعرضتها من خلال جندي بلغ الثامنة عشرة من عمره قبل أسابيع.
