من موقع الحرص على لغتنا العربية، والرغبة في تسهيل فهمها على الناشئة من طلبة العلم، جاء هذا الكتاب الذي يحتوي على مجموعة من النصوص الأدبية، نصفها مدروس ومحلل، ونصفها الآخر للدرس والتحليل، كما يحتوي على ملاحق في الإملاء والبلاغة والعروض، تفيد الطالب، وتوفر عليه عناء البحث في الكتب والمراجع المتخصصة.
ينقسم مضمون هذا الكتاب إلى قسمين: القسم الأول: يضم خمسة عشر نصاً مدروساً ومحللاً. أما القسم الثاني: فيضم خمسة عشر نصاً للدرس والتحليل. واللافت في هذا الكتاب أن الباحث لم يختر نصوصه التي استشهد بها من عصر واحد من عصور الأدب العربي، أو نمط واحد من أنماطه، وإنما عمد إلى التنويع في الاختيار من كافة العصور والفنون. وقد قسم الأسئلة حول تلك النصوص إلى أربعة أقسام: أسئلة في فهم النص، أسئلة في القواعد، أسئلة في البلاغة والعروض، موضوعات إنشائية مستوحاة من روح النص أو متصلة به. وأتبع بعض النصوص بأقوال مأثورة، وأمثال تواكب أفكارها، وتيسر على الطالب تدعيم أفكاره وآرائه.
