إن توظيف المرأة للكتابة وممارستها للخطاب المكتوب بعد عمر مديد من الحكي والاختصار على متعة الحكي وحدها، يعني أننا أمام نقلة نوعية في مسألة الأوضاع عن الأنثى، إذ لم يعد الرجل هو المتكلم عنها والموضح عن حقيقتها وصفاتها، كما فعل على مدى قرون متوالية، ولكن المرأة صارت تتكلم وتفصح وتشهر عن إفصاحها هذا بواسطة (القلم)، هذا القلم الذي ظل أداة ذكورية وحيثما يترك المجال لصوت المرأة كي يتكلم ويعبر فإنه بهذا يضاف صوت جديد إلى اللغة، صوتاً مختلفاً، ويفتح باب للنظر ظل مغلقاً على مدى طويل وفي كل الثقافات فهل تراها تملك القدرة على تأنيث اللغة أو أنسنتها لتكون للجنسين معاً، أم أن اللغة قد بلغت منها الفحولة مبلغاً لا سبيل إلى موافقته.
هذه التساؤلات شكلت مدخلاً إلى العمل في هذا الكتاب. وهذا العمل لن يكون بحثاً في أدب المرأة وليس هو دراسة فنية جمالية، ولكنه بحث وسؤال عن المنعطفات والتمفصلات الجوهرية في علاقة المرأة مع اللغة وتحولها من (موضوع) لغوي إلى (ذات) فاعلة، تعرف كيف تفصح عن نفسها، وكيف تدير سياق اللغة من (فحولة) متحكمة إلى خطاب بياني يجد فيه الضمير المؤنث فضاء للتحرك والتساوق مع التعبير ووجوه الإفصاح. وقد لا تسمح اللغة بهذا التحول الجذري، ولكن المسعى الإبداعي الشعري لما يزل مرشحاً لأحداث هذا التغيير الإبداعي الجذري. وقد اعتمد الباحث في بحثه هذه على الخطاب السردي مستبعداً الشعر عن هذه الدراسة، فقد وجد الخطاب السردي أقدر على كشف الأصوات المتعددة ومن ثم أقرب إلى الإفصاح عن معالم الاختلاف وضمائر التبدل والتنوع.
