كثيرة هي الهجمات التي تشن على الإسلام، والتي تتضمن تشكيكاً في عقيدة المسلمين وفي صدق الوحي والرسالة، وهذه الهجمات ابتدأت منذ نزل الوحي الأمين على سيدنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، واستمرت حتى يومنا هذا تتغذى من الحقد والكراهية للحق ومتبعيه.
ومؤلف هذا الكتاب وهو في غنى عن التعريف، وجد نفسه مدعواً أمام موجات التشكيك التي ترد من الشرق والغرب إلى وضع هذا الكتاب القيم دفاعاً عن الدين الحنيف ولتقوية مناعة الأمة ضد روافد الشرق والغرب وإذنابهم من المستغربين والكارهين للإسلام والمسلمين.
وفيه يرد على ما يثيره هؤلاء من أسئلة تهدف إلى تشويه حقيقة هذا الدين مقسماً المتشككين إلى أقسام حسب دوافعهم، رغم أنهم يشتركون في سمة واحدة، هي التشكيك في الدين.
كما يناقش الأفكار الواردة من الشرق والتي ترى أن الأديان ما جاءت لتنظم حركة الحياة ولذا كانت الثورة الشيوعية تصحيحاً لكل هذه الأفكار لتنظم اقتصاديات الحياة، كما يرد على افتراءات المستشرقين والمبشرين بغير الإسلام في قولهم إن محمداً قد كذب في ادعائه إنه رسول مبلغ عن الله.
ويرد على المرجفين حول قضية الإسلام في جزئيه من جزئياته التي أذاعوها وروجوا لها وهي قولهم أن القرآن ليس وحياً من أسماءً كما يبحث موضوع تعدد الزوجات وقضية حقوق المرأة، إضافة إلى موضوع زواج المسلم بالكتابية ومواضيع أخرى ذات صلة بواقع المسلمين وحياتهم.
