في "ألق من الذكرى" يشير الشيخ عبد اللطيف الخنيزي لبنوة وشجت الصلة بينه وبين سماحة الإمام الخوئي وحفرت أثرها ابعيد، وامتدت أبعادها في نفسه وفكره وروحه وضميره، وكان منذ أن انبثق "النور" وهي النشرة الشهرية التي تصدر عن مؤسسة الإمام الخوئي، يرنو ليسهم بإشعاع فيها، يكون محوره تلك الذكريات، التي اختارتها ذاكرته، لتقع عينا الإمام الخوئي على تلك السطور، وتأتي هذه الصفحات الآن لكن بعد انطواء صفحات حياة هذا الإمام لتذكر بكوكب العلم النيّر مع ما يستجلي المؤلف من خلال ذكرياته معه تلك اللوحة، ليجلو بعض الصور الزاهية فيها، غير ملتزم بالتسلسل التاريخي الذي قد يضفي عليها مسحة دقة، ويعطي شيئاً موضوعياً، وهذه اللقطات التي تصور جوانب حياتية خاصة إلا أنها تعكس جوانب نفسية عميقة، لها صلة وثقى بحياة هذا العظيم، في جوانبها المتشعبة: علماً وسلوكاٌ، وخلقاً وعطفاً، وما إلى ذلك من خلال الخير، وسمات السمو.
