فاطمة تسير على الخط السريع أنه شيء لا قيل لها به جديد بإشاراته وملامحه والتوائاته إنها الحياة التي لا قبل لنا بها لقد تفحمت الأمور أكثر من طاقة الإنسان وعادت فاطمة كرة أخرى إلى بيتها، ولم تحصل على مسيرة حياتها على شيء. فلما خرجت من مدينة الرشيد عادت إليها مع مأساة والآلام ولم تكن عملية الاغتصاب على أبواب مدينة الإشراق إلا دلائل على أن الأحداث الكبرى تفرض نفسها على أقدار الآخرين وترسم مستقبلهم وقصة فاطمة قصة كل امرأة عربية آمنت بالمجهول وضاعت في خضم المساومات والتنازلات وإرهاصات أناس لا ضمير لهم ولا وجدان وكانت النتيجة الجيل الجديد الذي ذهب ضحية، وكان مصيره خلف القضبان لأنه تمرد على الواقع بالانحراف.
