هذا كتاب جديد عن زنوبيا العظيمة ملكة سورية، هو تاريخ ورواية بنفس الوقت. هو تاريخ من حيث تسجيل الوقائع والأحداث التاريخية، التي رافقت حياة الملكة زنوبيا، والحروب التي خاضتها، والأعمال الكبيرة، التي حققتها، وذكر تفاصيلها بكل أمانة ودقة. وهو رواية من حيث سرد وقائع وأحداث لم يذكرها التاريخ، وردت في فصول الكتاب، لا تؤثر على الوقائع التاريخية، ولا تغيرها أو تنال منها، بل تفسرها وتجلو بعض ضبابها، اعتمدها المؤلف بواسطة استقراء التاريخ نفسه واستنطاقه، واللجوء إلى التمحيص والتدقيق والتحليل والاستنتاج والمنطق، في دراسة الأحداث، لإيجاد الحلول لبعض المسائل، وضع الأجوبة الصحيحة على بعض الأسئلة، وتفسير الغموض الذي كثيراً ما يظهر واضحاً ومحيراً، في تاريخ الملكة زنوبيا ملكة سوريا وزوجها الملك أذنينة.
