بعد أن ظهرت حقيقة الزَّرَجُون، وتحرر همام من الوهم، نظر إلى خاتم أعجوبة الجن، لقد اشتاق إلى لقاء الملكة ميار، وعليه أن يتبع قلبه الذي يناديه بسرعة الذهاب إلى هناك، وتذكر الملكة ميار فتبسم، ولمس بيده اليسرى خاتم «أعجوبة الجن» الذي وضعته ميار بيدها، ومسح على أحجاره الملونة؛ فتذكر قصرها، ولحظات الوداع التي أوقدت شمعة الحياة في قلبه، وصنعت منه إنساناً يعشق الخير، وتذكر كلماتها الرقيقة التي حركت بواعث الأمل والحب الصافي في أجمل معانيه في نفسه؛ فاشتاق للاقتراب منها؛ فحنين الشوق لرؤية ميار يمزق قلبه؛ فهي التي صنعت منه إنساناً يحمل في قلبه الحب والتسامح، وسقت بذرة الخير في داخله؛ فأصبح إنسانا يعشق الحياة، لقد ابتعد كثيرا عن الملكة؛ ولذلك وجد أن البقاء في مدينة جدة لا فائدة منه.
