والمؤلف أحد الباحثين الذين يعنون بالشؤون والدراسات الاجتماعية والأدبية والفكرية، يساعده في ذلك إحاطة واسعة، وافرة، بالثقافتين: اللاتينية والسكسونية.
فضة نحواً من أربع سنوات في تأليف هذا الكتاب، ورصد الأحداث المتعلقة بموضوعه، حتى أطلع على أكثر ما يتصل به في مختلف أنحاء العالم.
