"ترانيم في النفس والأخلاق" رواية تحتجز بين صفحاتها نوعين من الشخوص ظاهرة.. وأخرى مستخفية.. شخوصها الظاهرة تتمثل بعمّار وصديقه، ومصعب، وزينت، وسعيد.. و..و.. الخ. أما شخوصها الباطنة أو المستخفية فتتمثل بكل الشباب والفتيان الذين يعانون من حالة مرعبة من الحيرة والضياع والخوف في مجتمع غدا كل شيء فيه قائم على المادة وعناصرها التي لا تقود إن استحكمت إلا إلى مهاو سحيقة من التردي والانحطاط الخلقي والفكري والديني.
في مجتمع غدا أقرب إلى الحيوانية منه إلى الإنسانية، بعد أفلتت أزمة الشهوات والرغبات فسيطرت على النفوس.. وتملكت الأجساد.. فانعدمت القيم.. واندحرت الأخلاق.. وانحرف السلوك.. وأضحت النفوس السيئة هي الآمرة الناهية.
جاء القول "بالشخوص المستخفية" إلا ليقين تام بأن ما من أحد من قراء هذه الرواية إلا وسيجد نفسه أثناء قراءتها شخصاً من شخوصها يعاني معاناتهم ويبلغ معهم الخاتمة السعيدة التي بلغوها.. وهذا ما أراد المؤلف أن يوحي به عندما أدخل القارئ في خاتمة الرواية كأحد شخصياتها بحيث تنازلت له شخصياتها الحقيقية وتناءت مبتعدة..
فالكلام في نهاية الرواية يتوجه إلى القارئ مباشرة. (صمت الشيخ جامع السعادات ليفسح المجال لصوت جديد لم نعهده من قبل هو صوت لا ترتوي منه النفوس، ولا تنتهي من مهابته الأشجان، صوت لما بعد الدنيا، تملأ الأثير أنواره، إنه صوت حكمة البرزخ وموجه إليك مباشرة عزيزي الكريم).
أما أبطال الرواية الذين لعبوا دور القيادة والتوجيه فهم الأفكار والأنوار التي تمثلت بأفكار عمّار وصديقه تارة وبصوت النور الذي يأتي من كل زمان ومكان.. وصوت حكمة البرزخ.. وصوت الشيخ جامع السعادات.. وصوت نور المعرفة والحكمة.. والصوت الذي ينبع من جوف كل الكون والتكوين.
