المرقب مجلة غير دورية تصدر عن مرقب العيش المشترك وتعنى بتقديم المقالات المتخصصة والتي تعالج أوضاع العلاقات بين الطوائف اللبنانية وآثارها القائمة على المجتمع وعلى مستقبل البلاد. كما وتقدم رؤية المفكرين والسياسيين للأوضاع السياسية والاقتصادية الراهنة في البلاد، وهذا العدد الذي بين أيدينا وهو الثاني جاء نموذجاً واضحاً لما تبتغيه هذه المجلة في نفسها، وفيه مقالات تقدم بها مجموعة هامة من المفكرين اللبنانيين، طرحوا فيها رؤيتهم لمسألة الطائفية في لبنان، ومن أهم العناوين البارزة في هذه المقالات نذكر: الجامعة اللبنانية في ظلال العصبية الطائفية، التنشئة الدينية والتعايش في لبنان، علمية كتاب تاريخ لبنان بين أزمة المنهج وهاجس التوحيد، إلى جانب هذه المقالات يضم هذا العدد الثاني مقالات في مطالب متنوعة، تحدثت عن زيارة البابا وصدور الإرشاد الرسولي وعن ظاهرة الـ "ترويكا" في تركيب السلطة الحاكمة، بعد اتفاق الطائف، وعن المعركة التي سميت اختصاراً معركة الزواج المدني ومن الواجهة، من موقع المؤرخ، ما بين مبدأ الطائفية ومبدأ الدولة الحديثة.
