وفي هذا الكتاب يعالج الدكتور زين موضوع العلاقات التركية العربية ونشوء القومية العربية في أواخر عهد السلطنة العثمانية، ويصحح بالوثائق والمستندات، بعض الأخطاء التي علقت بالأذهان عن موضوع خطير كهذا، له أثره في تطور البلدان العربية سياسياً واقتصادياً واجتماعياً.
وقد توفق المؤلف في معالجة الموضوع، بفضل معرفته العميقة بتاريخ الشرق وبلغاته العربية والتركية والفارسية، وخبرته الواسعة فيا لبحث عن المصادر العربية والتركية والأوروبية.
لذلك، فلا يمكن فهم بعض قضايا الشرق الأدنى الأساسية وتقديرها حق قدرها، بدون هذه الدراسة العلمية الدقيقة التي يحتويها هذا الكتاب.
