ينصب هذه هذا الكتاب على توضيح ماهية الجرم المدني، وعلى توضيح الأفعال الجرمية اللاإنسانية التي تلحق الضرر والأذى بمصالح الإنسان كفرد يعيش بين جماعة تحيط به يكون عليه احترامها كما يكون عليها احترامه. ويقدم المؤلف نصوصاً وآراء فقهية في سياق الدراسة تمكن القارئ من استخلاص معنى الجرم المدني، كما يتم الحديث في سياق الدراسة عن مظاهر الجرم المدني وجوانبه كافة حيث يبين المؤلف أن بعض هذه الموجبات إرادي ينشأ عن إرادة، وإن بعضها غير إرادي، وهكذا يأتي الحديث عن المسؤولية الطبية والمسؤولية المتأتية عن عقد الإيجار أو عقد العمل أو عقد المقاولة.
وفي إطار بحث الأعمال الإرادية وغير الإرادية، وما ينجم عنها من موجبات تجاع الشخص وتجاه الغير يتحدث المؤلف عن أصول التنفيذ فيتطرق إلى التأمينات وأنواعها وطرق الحجز الممنوحة للدائن. كما يتطرق المؤلف إلى فلسفة نظرية الجرم المدني فيتحدث عن التعدي على الملكية الفكرية باحثاً عن تحليل مواد قانون حماية الملكية الفكرية في لبنان وجرائم المعلوماتية على الصعيد الدولي، كما يتطرق إلى دراسة أهم الجرائم الدولية كالجرائم ضد السلام وجرائم ركب والجرائم ضد الإنسانية والتعذيب وجرائم إسرائيل ضد لبنان.
