كما أن "فلسفة التربية" مرتبطة بالتاريخ والجغرافيا، لأن الأحداث التاريخية التي يمر بها العالم منذ القدم، تحتم على المرء والفلاسفة على وجه الخصوص التفكير في كيفية الخروج من المأزق السياسية والحروب المدمرة بتغسيرات حول حقيقة المعرفة والتعليم أحد أدواتها كي تخطو بالعالم إلى الأفضل.
ولو حصرنا الأمر في فلسفة التربية لوجدنا أنها من الأهمية بمكان، إذ تحتل المرتبة الأولى في سلم المنظرين والمخططين التربويين لأن كل مهنة أو صنعة او علم يحتاج إلى فلسفة لتقنينه وتأطيره.
من هذا المنطلق، تناول المؤلف مفهوم "الديموقراطية وفلسفة التربية" وفق منهج علمي رصيّن وقد جاء ذلك من خلال أربعة فصول؛ الفصل الاول : الديمقراطية في التربية، الفصل الثاني: مدارس الفلسفة التربوية، الفصل الثالث: اسس الفلسفة الاسلامية، الفصل الرابع: نحو فلسفة ديناميكية متطور.
