"مملكة الرئيس" تقدم رواية مغايرة للربيع العربي، تقوم على كشف الفظائع المزرية التي رافقت الحراك الثوري المنتفض على طغمات الفساد والاستبداد المتمثلة بالأنظمة الرسمية العربية. هذه القصص بقدر ما أرادات أن تحتفي بالحرية وبالوعي النهضوي للإنسان العربي من أجل كرامته، لم تجد مناصاً من التعبير عن عالم مليء بالقسوة والعنف. وكأن معاني الحرية والكرامة تحركها قوى غامضة تعمل على عكس أحلام الناس التي عبرت عنها جماهير الميادين في حراكها السلمي، وإذ بهذه القوى ترسل الناس وأحلامهم في طريق لا يؤدي إلا إلى الخراب والانحطاط، ولتجد الدول الفاشلة تطرح نفسها بقوة على الخريطة.
"مملكة الرئيس" محاولة من الكاتب لالتقاط الحلم العربي من وسط الخرائب، ولحشو الضوء في الثقوب المعتمة من حياتنا العربية المعاصرة.
