جودت يوسف نورالدين (لبنان).
ولد عام 1936 في جنوب لبنان.
تخرج في دار المعلمين ببيروت سنة 1955, ثم حصل على الإجازة في علم النفس من جامعة ليون بفرنسا 1961, والإجازة في العلوم الاجتماعية من الجامعة اللبنانية 1963.
عمل سبع سنوات في حقل التعليم ودخل السلك الدبلوماسي اللبناني عام 1963, ورقي عام 1980 إلى درجة سفير حيث عمل في الجابون, وسيراليون, وإيران, وهنجاريا حيث يقيم.
يتقن العربية والفرنسية ويحسن الإنجليزية.

هذه القصائد تكاد تكون منك بقدر ما هي لك: أولاً... لأن أرواحنا الفردية منبثقة من الروح الكبرى في هذا الكون والشعر كماهيّة هو شوق هذه الأرواح الجزئية إلى تلك الروح الواحدة، وهو كفنّ سعيها ووسيلتها إلى التحرر من المادة لمعانقة الروح الكبرى: إنه حنين آت من المستقبل...
وهذه القصائد تكاد تكون منك بقدر ما هي لك: ثانياً... لأن القصيدة بما فيها العبثية هي دائماً صنع اثنين: الشاعر والآخر؛ فهذا الآخر قارئاً او مستمعاً حاضر أبداً في وجدان الشاعر، هي مرآة وعيه وفي بئر لاوعيه، آعترف الشاعر بذلك أم لم يعترف.
الشعر أكثره إكتشاف وأقله إبداع، والعبقري جمع في مفرد... فيا أيها الآخر، يا أخي حقاً، كما عرفت... ويا شريكي فعلاً، كما رأيت... إن الحياة هي قصيدتنا الكبرى... ولا أريد أن أصدق أن الموت هو قصيدتنا الأخيرة... فما عليك، من بعد، إذا نشدت الإسترواح والخلاص، إلا أن تقبل على عالمنا العبقري هذا، بعين الرائي وقلب المحب... وبِلِبسة المتفضل أيضاً... فإن له مدخلاً... وينبغي أن يكون له وإن له مخرجاً... والأفضل أن لا يكون له...
