صدرت مؤخّرا ترجمة عربية لرواية " لنز في لبنان" للكاتب الألماني ألبرت أوسترماير، عن دار الجمل للنشر (بيروت-بغداد،). وقام بترجمة الرواية عن الألمانية الكاتب والمترجم التونسي محمّد المهذبي. ألبرت أوسترماير (من مواليد سنة 1967) هو شاعر وكاتب ومؤلّف مسرحي، له اهتمام بالأدب العربي قديمه وحديثه.
ويستلهم أوسترماير في هذه الرواية شخصيّة الشاعرجاكوب ميخائيل راينهولد لنز (1751-1792)، كما رواها غيورغ بوشنر (1813-1837)، في قصّة تحمل عنوان "لنز"، واستوحاها من سيرة الشاعر الذي قضّى أواخر حياته في متاهات الجنون. أوسترماير جعل لنز يسافر إلى لبنان ويعيش فيها أيّاما صاخبة.

إنّ لنز، حسب رواية أوسترماير، يشبه مجنون ليلى. فقد يضطرب الكلام عنده ويختلط، ولكنّ ما لا يضطرب ولا يختلط ولا يبلى هو حبّ ليلى. تماما مثل لنز الذي أصابه عشق بيروت. جاءها في زمن الزلازل والأعاصير السياسيّة التي تعصف بالمنطقة، شاهد آثارها وردّد وجدانه صدى الجدل السياسيّ المحتدم بكلّ تناقضاته، جدل قد يتداخل أحيانا بالأحكام المسبقة وبالمواقف التي قد تحتاج إلى التروّي.
