ذهب أحد الشعراء الفلسطينيين يوماً إلى إدارة الرقابة الإعلامية في بلد خليجي، مستأذناً إدخال ديوان شعر له. وتصفح الرقيب الإعلامي الديوان، فظهرت على وجهه أمارات الدهشة والعجب! وقال: إنها أول مرة يرى فيها شعراً فلسطينياً، إسلامي النزعة!!
من هنا كانت فكرة هذا البحث، وكان معها السؤال: لماذا يغيب الاتجاه الإسلامي في الشعر الفلسطيني الحديث عن أذهان القراء وعيونهم؟ لماذا لا يعرف من الشعراء الفلسطينيين إلا الاتجاه اليساري والماركسي؟! سواء في ذلك من هم في داخل الأرض المحتلة ومن هم خارجها.
أوليس في فلسطين شعراء إسلاميون؟ الجواب البدهي السريع، هو الإيجاب! ونظرة سريعة في كتاب "شعراء الدعوة الإسلامية في العصر الحديث، للأستاذين حسني أدهم جرار وأحمد عبد اللطيف الجدع، تعطينا رقماً غير قليل من الشعراء الإسلاميين في فلسطين.
إذاً فما ملامح هذا الشعر؟ وما أغراضه. وما مواقفه من القضايا والأحداث؟ ذلك ما عقد هذا البحث العزم على إجلائه وذلك من خلال دراسة إنتاجات أربعة شعراء هم أحمد فرح عقيلان، عدنان النحوي، محمد صيام، وأحمد محمد صديق، ولإجلاء كافة نواحي البحث تم إلحاق الدراسة بخاتمة تحدثت عن كل شاعر من هؤلاء، كما ورصد جزء من الخاتمة هذه الظاهرة التي تعرضت للتشويش ومحاولة الطمس حيناً من الدهر.
