"البرنامج التدريبي لإدارة المصارف" تستهدف الأمانة العامة بهذا البرنامج مشاركة مجموعة من المصرفيين العرب في ندوة علمية لمدة طويلة نسبياً تتناول القضايا الرئيسية والنواحي العلمي والفنية في إدارة المصارف.
وقد عقد هذا البرنامج بدعوة كريمة من "البنك الشعبي المركزي" لإستضافة أعضائه وإقامتهم في فندق خاص بالبنك في مدينة سياحية "أفران" بالمملكة المغربية: وقد وجه هذا البرنامج لمديري الإدارات ومديري الفروع ورؤساء بالمصارف العربية، ويستهدف إحاطة أعضاء البرنامج بالجوانب الإدارية والتنظيمية والإئتمانية والإستثمارية بالمصارف العربية، والتعريف بالأساليب العلمية لإدارة الموارد والإستخدامات وتسويق الخدمات المصرفية.
ويعتبر هذا البرنامج أول برنامج مقيم يعقده الإتحاد وتكون فيه الإقامة للسادة الأعضاء كاملة وطول الوقت، وذلك بغرض إتاحة الفرصة الكاملة للتعارف والإحتكاك بين الأعضاء من جهة، وبينهم وبين السادة المحاضرين من جهة أخرى، وخاصة وأن الوقت كان كاف تماماً للنقاش سواء صباحاً أو بعد الظهر، مما جعل لهذا البرنامج سمات خاصة تختلف عن البرامج العادية التي يعقدها الإتحاد.
هذا وقد عملت الأمانة العامة للإتحاد على أن يتولى إلقاء المحاضرات وإدارة المناقشات مجموعة من المصرفيين العرب على أرفع مستوى علمي وعملي ومن ذوي التخصصات العالية بالمصارف العربية والجامعات.
