يقدم الكتاب مادة أنثروبولوجية خاصة بالأمثال الشعبية اللبنانية فيها الكثير من الحكمة والأقوال المأثورة، والأشعار، والقصص الطريفة التي رافقت الناس على مرّ الأيام. إنه الذاكرة الشعبية للبنانيين المنقولة باللسان والمدونة بين صفحات الكتب والأذهان والتي هي مما تحتاج الأجيال في كل آن. من هنا يقول الكاتب "معاً نبني متحف الذاكرة الشعبية".
