ملحمة الأعراب في النحو هو منظومة للعلامة اللغوي البارع ذو البلاغتين أبو محمد القاسم بن علي بن محمد بن عثمان الحريري البصري الشافعي، صاحب المقامات، كان الحريري عالماً للغة العربية وله مؤلفات كثيرة، منها تلك المنظومة، وقد تسابق العلماء إلى شرحها منهم العالم محمد بن عمر بن مبارك الحميدي الشافعي الشهير ببحرق (جمال الدين)، كان عالماً مشاركاً في الحديث والتصوف والنحو والصرف والحساب والطب والأدب والفلك وغير ذلك، نعته الزبيدي بعلامة اليمن. أقبل على نفع الناس إقراءاً وإفتاءً وتصنيفاً، له مؤلفات كثيرة منها "تحفة الأحباب وطرفة الأصحاب على ملحمة الأعراب" وهو الكتاب الذي بين يدي القارئ حيث قام الشارح بتعليق على ما أورده الناظم في شرح منظومته، ضاماً إلى ذلك فوائد جامة وزوائد مهمة، مقتصراً في الشرح على حل عباراتها وإيراد أمثلتها وإشاراتها، مفسراً الغريب مما جاء فيها من كلمات غريبة وعبارات مبهمة، ومبيناُ الشكل من إعرابها بعبارة قريبة إلى الإفهام،ظاهرة للخاص والعام، ليستفيد من هذه المنظومة الهامة العالم كما المبتدئ في علم النمو.
