لذلك، جاء الكتاب في فصلين، يجتهد الفصل الأول في عرض رؤى متعالقة بأهمية تطوير نقد أدب الأطفال ولا سيّما الإتجاه الفني الجمالي... وجاء الفصل الثاني مرئيات نقدية تطبيقية (خفيفة) في عدد من النصوص الموجّهة للأطفال.
