خلافاً لنا درجت عليه معظم المؤلفات التي سبقته على تسليط الضوء إلى طريقة التأرخة التي دونت فيها التوراة الأحداث التي شهدتها الأرض الجنوبية من سورية الطبيعية منذ هجرة إبراهيم (إبرام) حوالي 1900 ق.م إلى موت سليمان ونهب مملكته على يد الفرعون شيشنق الأول عام 926ق.م، حيث شهدت الأرض الكنعانية-فلسطين أطول حرب إبادة وتدمير من قبل الموسويين بزعامة خليفة موسى/يشوع بن نون/ الذين تسللوا إلى القسم الجنوبي من بلاد الشام حيلة وخداعاً في بداية الأمر وحرباً وإبادة بعدما قويت شوكهم. إن المتابعة المتأنية للأسفار التوراتية تبين المآسي والحروب التي قام بها الموسويون على الكنعانيين المسالمين، بذريعة إعطاء (يهوه) الأرض الكنعانية-فلسطين إلى إبراهيم ولنسله من بعده صحيح أن الزمن الذي كانت فيه التوراة مصدر التاريخ وميدان الأدلة قد ولى، فلم يعد التاريخ التوراتي مصدراً تاريخياً يؤخذ به حتى من قبل المتحمسين للتوراة ذاتها، وذلك بعدما جردت الاكتشافات التاريخية خطل دعاواها وزيفه.
