في فتح مكة إنبهرت قريش بعظمة الإسلام، وعظمة محمد النبي وعظمة جيشه، وإنبهرت بقوته العسكرية والتنظيمية كأفراد ومجموعات، كما إنبهروا بذلك التجمع الهائل الذي دار في فلك محمد بن عبد الله المطلب (النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم) الذي كان يوماً من الأيام جزءاً من المجتمع المكي ثم كان طريداً في المجتمع الملكي.
وقد عبَر قائد قؤيش حينها أبو سفيان صخر بن حرب بن أمية عن ذلك الإنبهار بكلمة واحدة تمثل مفهوم التفوق ومفهوم النجاح في ذلك الوقت من خلال ما يفهمه الحس العربي والقرشي بشكل خاص.
فقال كلمته فيها إلى عم الرسول (صلى الله عليه وسلم): لقد أصبح ملك ابن أخيك عظيماً.
لكن العباس بن عبد المطلب الذي فهم معنى حركة النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم)، وفهم دواعي ذلك الجهد النبوي الذي بذله إبن أخيه وفهم مغزى دعوة النبي ومغزى أن حركة محمداً القرشي لم تكن للمناصب ولم تكن للملك، ولم تكن لتحقيق أي مكسب دنيوي أو أرضي. بل كان هدفه إحياء معاني العبوديىة لله في الأرض، وكل مكسب حصله باسم قريش ولا باسم العرب ولا باسم الإنسان ولكن باسم النبوة فقال: "إنها النبوة" فاستوعب أبو سفيان مغزى ذلك كله بسرعة (على عادة العرب) فقال: نعم إذاً: ومن خلال هذه المحاورة تتضح الرؤية الكاملة لسعي النبي محمد بن عبد الله بن عبد اللطيف (عليه السلام) والتي تمثلت فقط في أنه نبي وليس في أنه نبي وليس في أي شيء آخر، ولذلك كان شعار هذا الكتاب (إنها النبوة) والذي يطرح فقه السيرة النبوية من خلال البصائر والعبر التي فتح الله بها على مؤلف هذا الكتاب.
