"ذات يوم أرادت "غرسة-الصنوبر" الاقتراب أكثر؛ فأكثر؛ من جارتها شجرة السنديان بداعي ألفة قد افتقدتها!! مما جعل "غرسة الصنوبر تشرع شيئاً فشيئاً في الإعوجاج منحنية لجهة السنديانة المستقيمة الجذع" يساعدها في ذلك مسحب الريح الشمالية الشديد؛ المتواجد في تلك الناحية. كيف لا وقد كانت حينها "الصنوبرة" ما زالت رقصة العود، تتأثر حتى بالنسمة العليلة، إن صدف ومرت بعض النسيمات العليلة بها، أو سرت في مجراها؟!! وكان قلب "السنديانة" الحادبة، لو مُتِّعَت أشجار السنديان بقلب خفاق، أشفق على الصنوبرة العزيزة من حالها.. على حالها!! فقد راحت "شجرة السنديان "آنئذ أن تنشأ" الصنوبرة صحيحة الاتجاه منتصبة الجذع؛ مثلها هي تماماً!! لذلك ألهمت رساماً معيناً قد واظب على تأملها وعلى نقل معالمها كسنديانة خلابة صامدة في وجه الزمن إلى لوحاته الخام. حيث خلدها في أكثر من لوحة استلهمها منها أن يراعي جارتها "الصنوبرة" الناشئة، بكل ما في نظراته الجمالية؛ من بعد ثالث متبصر، وحسن تنسيق قويم!! فقام "الرسام" المبدع بما أوحته السنديانة له؛ مدفوعاً بحسه الهندسي السليم وذوقه الجمالي الرفيع المستوى".
كما الطبيعة هي قصصها منى شريف قيس، سرديات شفافة تحمل من المعاني الطفولية البريئة ما تحمل، ومن المعاني الحياتية العميقة ما تحمل، ومن الرمز الذكي الكثير في محاولة لاستنطاق الطبيعة وتجسيدها ليعود الإنسان إليها من جديد من خلال فكره وعقله وروحه وتصرفاته.
