تمضي الأيام وتنقضي الليالي، وتتعاقب الأجيال الواحد تلو الآخر، ويظل الزمن يدور وشخصية نبينا الأكرم محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم تبقى في ضمير كل إنسان حر، وتشع في وجدان كل إنسان مؤمن.. لأنها لم تكن شخصية مؤطرة بزمان ومكان، وإنما هي شخصية خالدة بخلود الرسالة الإلهية، وحلاً للألغاز التي تلف حياته.. ولا يخفى حجم الكم الهائل الذي كتب عن شخصية رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، ومع ذلك ما زالت هناك أبعاد كثيرة من حياته تحتاج إلى بيان وبيان.
ولا نبالغ إذا قلنا إن حياة النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم أشبه ما تكون بحديقة غناء زاخرة بالأزهار ذات الألوان الشفافة الزاهية والتي تود الفراشات أن تستعيرها لتتجمل بها ومليئة بالنظم التي يود النحل أن يقتبس منها بتنظيم مملكته..
فما بالك بالإنسان! فهل من الصحيح أن لا يعتني الإنسان بهذا الكنز العظيم؟ وأن لا يعكف ولو لساعات على دراسة شيء من حياة النبي والتدبر في مواقفه؟ مما لا جدال فيه أن كل المسلمين يحبون رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حباً فطرياً، ويقدسونه ويبجلونه... غير أنهم لا يفقهون كثيراً من قيم رسالته ومناهجها، وأكثرهم لا يزالون يجهلون أشياء كثيرة من تفاصيل حياته وعظيم مواقفه.
وتبعاً لذلك، فإن رؤيتهم للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالتأكيد هي رؤية ضبابية معتمة، لا يستطيعون عبرها تشخيص الحقائق والبصائر والنور الذي جاء به مبشراً ونذيراً. من هنا تأتي ضرورة معرفة الرسول الأكرم، ولو بمطالعة صور من حياته الكريمة، لكي نعيشه بوجودنا، ونحياه بكياننا.
ومتى ما عرفنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حق معرفته، ولو في مفردة من مفردات حياته، آنذاك يمكن أن نحدث أنفسنا بما جاء في الخطاب القرآني: "لقد كان لكم في رسول الله أسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجو الله واليوم الأخر وذكر الله كثيراً". ومتى ما تمسك الإنسان بنهج النبي الأكرم، وسار بسيرته الوضاءة، سيعرف آنذاك قيمة نفسه، فيسمو في سماء الفضيلة والعطاء والتقدم والانطلاق.. دون أن يحجزه حاجز.
وانطلاقاً من هنا جاء هذا الكتاب حيث سعى لتسليط الضوء على بعض الصور من حياة المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم، وذلك لينهل المسلم من مناهله الروية، فيتخذه أسوة يقتدي بها في كل فصول حياته لينعم بالخيرات ويفوز بالمكرمات...
