تعد هذه الدراسة بجزئيها الأول والثاني، وفصولها الأربعة والعشرون جزءاً من مجموعة دروس ألقاها السيد "كمال الحيدري" في شرح نهاية الحكمة للعلامة الطباطبائي، وتفضل العلامة "علي حمود العبادي" على إخراجها في كتاب من أجل تعميم الفائدة وخدمة الدين...
تبحث هذه الدراسة في العلم الذي يتوصل بواسطته إلى معرفة الواجب تعالى وأسمائه الحسنى... العلم الأعلى، أو الفلسفة الأولى، كما ذكر ذلك الطباطبائي في بداية الحكمة بقوله "الحكمة الإلهية هي العلم الباحث عن أحوال الموجود بما هو موجود، ويسمى أيضاً: الفلسفة الأولى، والعلم الأول (...)". وعلى هذا الأساس نهج الكتاب منهج الحكمة [أي قسم الإلهيات بالمعنى الأخص] والذي حاول مؤلفه الشروع في أفضل أجزائه وهو (الإيمان الحقيقي بالله وآياته واليوم الآخر... وهو مشتمل على علمين شريفين أحدهما العلم بالمبدأ، وثانيهما العلم بالمعاد. ويندرج في العلم بالمبدأ: معرفة الله وصفاته وأفعاله وآثاره، وفي العلم بالمعاد: معرفة النفس والقيامة وعلم النبوات.. ما يريد أن يقوله العلامة الحيدري هو "أن البحث في معرفة الواجب تعالى ليس غاية في نفسه، وإنما هو وسيلة وواسطة لتحقق القرب الإلهي ونيل السعادة العظمى...".
يستند العلامة الحيدري في دراسته هذه إلى نصوص فلسفية ولا سيما في كتاب الأسفار والشوراهد الربوبية، والمبدأ والمعاد، إضافة إلى مصادر أخرى للكبار الفلاسفة كالشيخ الرئيسي ابن سينا، والشيخ السهرودي والميردامار وغيرهم، ويعرض لمختلف الأقوال والاراء ويناقشها بأمانة الباحث العلمي الذي يبتغي الحقيقة والحكمة وإيصالها إلى جميع المسلمين... جدير بالقراءة.
