(الكتاب المعتبر في الحكمة الإلهية) هو كتاب في علم المنطق والعلوم الحكمية الوجودية الطبيعية والإلهية، صنفه أبو البركات هبة الله بن علي بن ملكا البغدادي أثناء اشتغاله بقراءة الكتب التي وضعها المتقدمين وكذلك مجمل التفاسير والشروح والتصانيف التي شرحها وصنفها المتأخرون في هذه العلوم، فضمنه جميع الآراء والمذاهب التي حصل عليها وحقق النظر فيها.
أما هدفه من ذلك كما يقول ".... كان أغلب إجابتي فيه لكبير تلامذتي وقديمهم الذي هو كاتبه ومستمليه والذي تصفح تعاليمه وراجع في علومه حتى كمل وانتهى باستملائه مع تعليمه وتحقيقه وقدمت على ما ضمنته من العلوم الوجودية ذكر العلوم المنطقية التي قيل إنها (قوانين الأنظار وعروض الأفكار).
واحتذى في ترتيبه للأجزاء والمقالات والمسائل والمطلوبات حذو أرسطو طاليس في كتبه المنطقية والطبيعية والإلهية وذكر في كل مسألة آراء المعتبرين من الحكماء وألحق ما أعوز ذكره من أقسام الرأي وأورد البيانات والحجج بمقتضى النظر ما ذكر منه وما لم يذكر ثم تعقبها بالاعتبار واعتمد من جملتها على ما رجحته به في المعقول كفة الميزان ورفض ما عداه، وقابل جميع ذلك بالكتاب الأصلي أو المخطوط الأصلي لهذه الكتب وقسم كتابه الى ثلاثة أقسام القسم الأول يشتمل على العلوم المنطقية والقسم الثاني يشتمل على العلوم الطبيعية والقسم الثالث يشتمل على علم ما بعد الطبيعة والعلم الإلهي أما علم المنطق فيشتمل على ثمانية مقالات.
