"غفوة في نمش الكتفين" سيرة شعرية، جاءت كتعبير عن وحدة الحالة الشعورية للبشر يكتب فيها الشاعر العراقي "سعد الياسري" عن الحب والحنين والعناق والوحدة، والوطن، وليوم جديد، جميع هذه المفردات ضمها قاموس الشاعر عبر لغة فنية وإيقاع، مليء بالدلالات، يحمل قارئه إلى لحظة فلسفية – تأملية صادقة قادرة على خلق عالمها الخاص بها، وهذا ما جعل للشاعر طريقاً متغرداً في المشهد الثقافي والشعري الحديث.
يضم الديوان ثلاثة فصول: الأول بعنوان "صبابة" حيث ضم (17) قصيدة غلب عليها الطابع الغزلي والعاطفي الدائر حول موضوعة الحب ومتعلقاتها، فيما جاء الفصل الثاني بعنوان "الزلة" وضم (8) قصائد ذات محتوى تأملي وعام، ثم الفصل الثالث بعنوان "البلوى" وتم تخصيصه لموضوعة الوطن العراقي.
في قصيدة بعنوان :الحب وجه واحد (عن سديد الهجس) يقول: "الحب وجه واحد؛/ يأتي متهيباً ... عارفاً!/ بكياسة الحوذيِّ يرشدنا إلى معنى المكيدة،/ ثم يكفي أن يمر الفارس المطري – في وقت المساء – لتبكي بنتٌ/ أو يقول الشعر جندي وحيد – آخر الباقين في الأرض الحرام – لتبكي أمٌ (...)/ يا هوايَ؛ وآخر الحُلوات،/ يا أنت: احضنيني، وأوغلي .../ فالحب وجهك حين يشرق .../ ليس إلا ... !!".
