نصوص سعد الياشري تحيل في غالبيتها على جوانب الروح، وما يتعلق بها من إشارات مثل الحلم والموت والانتظار والنهايات، وهي مدلولات يمكنها بشكل أو بآخر أن تحيلنا على العالم النصي الذي يكشف، من العنوان –"كشاعر سعيد.. كطاغية يبتسم"- عن نفسه، وقد عكف الشاعر خلالها على مساءلة عالم الإنسان المليئ بالمفاجآت من خير وشر. يقول الشاعر: "... في الواقع؛/ أنا متصالح مع كل شيء تقريباً../ إلا مع الدم المسفوك والجوع النافر/ والوجوه الشتوية والثياب المقصرة؛/ كحدثٍ يوميَ معتادٍ ومباشرٍ!/ نعم.. متصالح أنا؛/ إنما لا أطيق الطارئين؛/ الطوافين بتخنثٍ –ودون سببٍ- حول عزلة الآخرين(...)". وعلى هذا المنوال تسير قصائد الديوان لتمتلأ صفحاته بالمعاني المضمرة والإشارات الرمزية والاسلوب المختصر شديد التفرد وخاصة في قصائد الهايكو والتي نزجت بين التلميحات الرمزية والاستبصارات النفسية بطريقة مميزة جداً يقول: "هايكو أيضاً (يولج الليل في النهار../ على الساق../ تغفو شامة)، (ملل: الجمل في حقلٍ.. من شعر بمأساته؟).
عناوين القصائد: "لافتة"، طحينما في الانتظار"، "أيها الغراب؛ اعرني منقارك"، "غلالة هرية لجسد البحر"، "هذا أنا"... الخ.
