لقد كان لنبية النص في العنوان كل الموفقية في الوصول إلى حقيقتين تاريخيتين هامتين، أولاهما: آل البيت كمفتتح واسع المعالم على الرسالة المحمدية الخالدة، وثانيهما: بلاد الرافدين التي مثلت ولا زالت تمثل الحلقة الأكثر حيوية وثباتاً في قراءة التأريخ الحي لهذه البلاد المقدسة، وهو ما جعل المؤلف يعرج إلى ما جاء في ولادة نبي الله إبراهيم الخليل عليه السلام في أرض العراق وغيرها من الحقائق التي أفاضت على القارئ العربي وغيره بالكثير من وقائع التأريخ الهامة وذات العلاقة المتينة بما هو آني وقابل للتناول.
