من قصيدة شال الياشمين التي افتتحت بها الديوان نقتطف شذرات تقول فيها: "على غصن قدري حطً اليوم شال/ لبست اشتعاله.. شموسا/ فجنحت عن دربها الأكوان/ وعلى خصري علق/ البحر بطعم سنارة/ رماها اليوم شال/ كيف أتوب؟.. كيف أصوم؟/ وورد الورد كافي ونوني/ ومهري قصيدة ياسمين...".
يضم الديوان قصائد متنوعة في الشعر العربي الحديث ونصوص نثرية وحوارات رائعة لـ "ديموزي وعشتار" وشذرات شعرية نذكر من عناوينها: "أمل"، "بوح طلاء"، "هذيان"، "حيرة"، "ظلال"، "عصف"، "صفاء"... الخ.
