كاتب فلسطيني، ولد في قرية سلفيت قرب نابلس عام 1971، حصل على بكالوريوس في الأدب العربي وماجستير في العلاقات الدّولية من جامعة بير زيت.
يعمل حاليًا محررًا لصحيفة <أيام> وفي المركز الفلسطيني للدراسات الإسرائيلية <مدار>.
صدر له كتاب <هواجس الإسكندر> (٢٠٠٣) و <سيرة العقرب الذي يتصبب عرقاً> التي حصلت على جائزة من مؤسسّة عبد المحسن القطان لعام ٢٠٠٧ وترجمت للّغة الفرنسية.
Book Description
في روايته "التبس الأمر على القلق" يقارب الروائي الفلسطيني "أكرم مسلم" مأزق الهوية الفلسطينية المركبة والمحاصرة في ظل الإحتلال، وإذ يفعل هذا يختار تفصيلة بسيطة كنقطة انطلاق له وهي نظارة تسلمها الجدة إلة حفيدها، ومن هذه التفصيلة يتشعب الحكي ليجد القارئ نفسه يعاين بعضاً من التباسات الواقع الفلسطيني المعقد.
عن روايته هذه يقول أكرم مسلم: "اللقلق ببساطة بطل الرواية، لكنه بطل غير تقليدي، ينسج بطولته من خيوط غير بطولية.. حياة اللقلق مثل اسمه المكون من شقين متطابقين: لق لق، محكومة إلى سلسلة من الإنقسامات والحدود المتناسلة، على عدة مستويات، يتداخل فيها التاريخي بالإجتماعي بالسياسي"... ويضيف "... لكن تناول إشكالية الحدود خاصة في الحالة الفلسطينية يتم عبر محاولة لتفجي "هندسة الهيمنة" جمالياً (أقصد هندسة الإحتلال للمكان)، عبر السخرية المرة، والتعرية الفجائية لأثر هذه الهندسة على حياة ناس في منتهى البساطة والعادية والود".
تحكي الرواية قصص مجموعة "أبطال" مهملين في الواقع، ولكن يحسدون تاريخاً مريراً من الصراع مع المحتل وهي نفسها التباسات الفلسطيني في واقعه الحاضر سواء أكان "اللقلق الطفل" أو "اللقلق الحفيد"، أو "اللقلق الجد" دائرة لا خروج منها، ولا أجوبة على تساؤلاتها، هي مجرد أسئلة برسم إجابات لا تجيب...
