كاتب فلسطيني، ولد في قرية سلفيت قرب نابلس عام 1971، حصل على بكالوريوس في الأدب العربي وماجستير في العلاقات الدّولية من جامعة بير زيت.
يعمل حاليًا محررًا لصحيفة <أيام> وفي المركز الفلسطيني للدراسات الإسرائيلية <مدار>.
صدر له كتاب <هواجس الإسكندر> (٢٠٠٣) و <سيرة العقرب الذي يتصبب عرقاً> التي حصلت على جائزة من مؤسسّة عبد المحسن القطان لعام ٢٠٠٧ وترجمت للّغة الفرنسية.

فازت رواية "أكرم مسلم"، سيرة العقرب الذي يتصبب عرقاً، بجائزة الكاتب الشاب للعام 2007 التي نظمتها مؤسسة عبد المحسن القطان ضمن برنامجها للثقافة والفنون، لأنها رواية جميلة ومتكاملة، ومؤثرة وممتعة في آن، ولأنها نص ذو رشاقة وخفة وعمق تبقي رغبة قراءته ثابتة منذ الصفحة الأولى وحتى الأخيرة، وينطوي على لعبة سرد متمكنة بطريقة أخاذة وإن بدت بسيطة. وتمثل هذه الرواية محاولة ناجحة للانتصار الفني على ذاكرة المكان، واستعادة المكان وكسبه جمالياً.
